Finally got the garden all in now I can sit back and watch as the weeds compete for attention. Every year I say I'm going to do better on keeping the garden weeded and looking nice. Every year I come up short.

America First

Wow! I just heard Merle Haggard's song: "Lets Rebuild America First". He hit the nail right on the head. Government is supposed to exist, in this country, for the good of the people. When's the last time the present administration or the congress did anything for the people. Every decision made has been for the benifit of Corporate America and the rich. They don't want to do anything to the large oil companys but they want to insult us with a check for $100.00 that they assume we'll use for gas and give it right back to the oil companies.

I would urge every American, this November, to vote every republican they can out of office. Let's send them a signal, and in 2008 let's give the government back to the people that it exists for.
